Marcel Danesi is known for his work in
language, communications, and semiotics. He is the author of many
books and articles, is a frequent lecturer, the editor of Semiotica,
and co-editor of the International
Journal of Applied Semiotics. Marcel is a professor in the
Department of Anthropology at the University of Toronto.
