Patricia
Linehan has been teaching at the college level either full or part-time since
1984. She received her Masters in English from Colorado State University
in 1983 and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Purdue University
in 1994. She taught adjunct for several colleges and universities
including Indiana University, St. Mary’s (MN), Minnesota State
University- Mankato, and William Penn. Dr. Linehan served as the Director
of Assessment for William Penn University in Iowa and the Dean of Research,
Planning and Development for South Central College in Minnesota. She
has given dozens of workshops on assessment techniques and active teaching
to faculty and staff, and currently enjoys teaching Psychology and
English at South Central College. The wife of a retired military officer
and mother to three teenage sons, when not teaching or writing you
will find her tending enormous gardens or learning to spin and weave,
surrounded by a large assortment of cats and dogs..
