Long Shadows: Veterans’ Paths to Peace DVD is a selection
of face-to-face interviews with veterans who discuss their
journeys from being military personnel to being peace activists.
Eight of the contributors to the book, expand on their interviews,
giving a face and a voice to their stories.
The interviews span
the time between the Spanish Civil War and the Iraq War. While
individual stories are very different from each other, themes
evolve, revealing experiences and reflections that are more
common than different among the interviewees.
